With the development of the solar energy industry, large-scale solar photovoltaic power plants are also growing rapidly. People have put forward higher and higher requirements for the performance of control and protection electrical equipment used in large-scale solar photovoltaic power plants. When the power of a photovoltaic power plant exceeds a certain level, circuit breakers or isolating switches are required, especially for the protection and isolation of inverters, which puts forward new requirements for low-voltage components. To this end, our company has developed a new generation of SJKM5DC(PV) series DC circuit breakers specifically for photovoltaic applications based on our original photovoltaic DC circuit breakers. The SJKM5DC(PV) series DC circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as circuit breakers) are used in DC grid circuits with rated voltages of DC250V - DC1500V and rated operating currents of 63A - 800A. These circuit breakers have overload long-time delay and short-circuit instantaneous protection functions, and are used to distribute electrical energy and protect lines and power supply equipment from overload, short-circuit and other fault hazards.
Normal Working Conditions:
1. Altitude: The installation site shall not exceed 2000 meters above sea level.
2. Ambient Temperature: The ambient temperature shall not exceed +50°C and shall not be lower than -5°C. (Derating is required above +40°C, subject to consultation with the manufacturer.)
3. Atmospheric Conditions: At an ambient temperature of 40°C, the relative humidity shall not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures, such as 90% at 20°C, with consideration given to condensation on the product surface due to temperature changes.
4. Pollution Degree: Level 3.
5. Installation Category: III.
6. Magnetic Field: The magnetic field at the installation location shall not exceed 5 times the geomagnetic field in any direction.
7. Medium Conditions: The equipment shall be installed in a non-explosive medium without gases or conductive dust that can corrode metal or damage insulation.
8. Environmental Protection: The installation location shall be protected from wind, snow, and erosion.
