The Dual Power Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is an intelligent electrical switching device designed to automatically transfer power supply between two independent sources (e.g., grid and generator) during outages or voltage fluctuations. Working Principle:
The ATS continuously monitors primary (Priority) and secondary (Backup) power sources via built-in voltage sensors. When the primary source fails or deviates beyond ±15% of rated voltage, the control logic:
- Detects fault via microprocessor (32-bit ARM Cortex core)
- Issues break command to the active contactor
- Engages alternate source after 0.5~30s adjustable delay (prevents nuisance tripping)
- Auto-reverts to primary power upon stabilization (with configurable hysteresis)
Safety Interlocks:
