JCHKO Overview of HR5 Fused Disconnect Switch

     The HR5 series fused disconnect switch is an electrical device that integrates power isolation and short-circuit protection functions. It is suitable for power distribution systems and motor circuits with rated voltages of 400V/660V AC (45-62Hz) and rated currents up to 630A. Its core features include safe isolation (visible breakpoint), high short-circuit breaking capacity (50kA at 400V), and emergency manual disconnection, complying with IEC 60947-3 and GB 14048.3 standards.

This product is primarily used for main power supply isolation, backup protection, and emergency power switching but is not suitable for direct frequent starting/stopping of motors. It supports optional auxiliary contacts (1NO+1NC) and must be used with gG/gL-type fuse links. A 10% current derating is required in high-temperature environments (>40°C).

     Compared to ordinary switches, HR5-100/3P fuse-disconnector integrates dual functions of visible breaking point isolation and fuse protection (short-circuit breaking capacity up to 50kA), while ordinary switches only have on-off capability without protective function.
